Hair that is long or even medium-length can get hot in the spring and summer. Pulling your hair up is one way to cool off. You also might want to pull it up because you like the way it looks or feels. Some women choose head wraps as a way of covering hair loss. While you can use various methods of wrapping your hair, one of the simplest methods is to use a T-shirt. This also provides a way of using older T-shirts rather than throwing them away.

Cut the shirt in half right under the sleeves. Cut straight across from underneath one sleeve all the way to the other side so that the shirt is in two pieces.
Place the hem of the bottom portion of the shirt against your forehead at your hairline.
Reach behind your head and cross the right portion of the shirt over the left portion, creating a loop.
Hold each side of the loop and flip it over the top of your head so that it encircles your head like a headband. If any fabric is hanging loose, tuck it in.
Discard the top portion of the shirt or experiment with twisting it and applying it over your wrap as an extra decorative band.
