Hi, I'm Gary Malec, and in this video I'm going to show you how to remove your laptops keyboard. It's not as hard as you think, and there's a lot of reasons why you would want to remove your keyboard, because a lot of computers have a slot for ram on the bottom, but they also have a slot under the keyboard that a lot of people don't know about, so if you want to upgrade even more, you've got to get your key board out. So, here it is. Now, in most laptops, especially this one, there's a little keyboard icon, little, little picture of a keyboard with an arrow pointing at the screws that the keyboard is screwed down to. There's two of them on this one. Now, you're going to take the screws and remove them with a small screwdriver, there's only two, it's nice and easy. And now, I've removed this before, so I know it's, it's very easy. Just these two screws, and then you open it up, pull up on the keyboard, and then like that, but you still have your ribbon attached to it, connects it to the motherboard, so just grab it slowly and pull up. There you go, you just removed your laptops keyboard.
