Celebrity hair stylist Jose Eber has released a line of curling irons, which are sold in salons and speciality shops. The difference between the Jose Eber curling irons and many others is that the Eber irons don't have a clip to hold the hair in place on the iron's barrel. Instead, they come with a Kevlar glove so you can hold your hair on the barrel. This allows you to produce both a tight curl and a lighter wave curl with one tool.
- Skill level:
Plug your Jose Eber curling iron into a wall socket. Press the "On" button. The green light on the curling iron will turn on when the iron is on.
Put the Kevlar curling iron glove on one of your hands. You should place this glove on the hand that isn't holding the handle of the iron.
Place the curling iron near your scalp with the barrel pointing downwards. With your gloved hand, take a small section of hair and wrap it around the iron. Hold the hair on the iron until the hair is evenly warmed and then release. Repeat this process with the rest of your hair.
Turn the curling iron off. The green light on the iron will turn off. Give the iron a moment to cool down before putting it away.
Tips and warnings
- Make sure there are no holes in the Kevlar glove before using it. The curling iron gets very hot and can easily burn you without the protection of the glove.
