Taming long, thick hair is often a challenge. One way to style your hair is a snake braid. This type of braid is unique in that it resembles a snake in an S shape. It is not something you see every day. Thus, the unique style will certainly be an eye-catcher. If your hair is not long, it is still possible to do snake braids. They just need to be smaller ones on the top or side of the head.

Gather all your hair in your hand at the nape of your neck. Divide it into three sections and make a standard braid. Hold the bottom of the braid.

  3. 3

Hold the middle section of the braid with your index finger and thumb. Move the middle section up. Push the section all the way up to the top. Push the section of hair into a section of the braid and pin it in place with a hair clip. Secure the bottom of the braid with a rubber band.
