A CD duplication tower is simply a computer with multiple CD/DVD writer drives installed. CD duplication towers are personal computers designed to make multiple copies of discs at once. Commercial CD duplicators can be quite expensive, and you can create your own CD duplication tower to achieve the same results. With a cheap personal computer, a little effort and the NERO Burning ROM duplicator application, you can have your own duplication tower up and running in almost no time at all.

Things you need
- A computer with available expansion bays
- CD-ROM drive
- Multiple CD/DVD writer drives
- Nero Burning Rom Software
Find a cheap personal computer with Windows and a CD/DVD drive installed. Alternatively, use an older computer you are not currently using. The PC does not need to be new or even very fast. If the computer has a 1-GhZ or faster processor, it will make an excellent CD duplicator machine. However, the computer case enclosure does need to have at least one available 5.25-inch expansion bay available.
Use the screwdriver to open the case enclosure, then install one or more CD or DVD burner drives in the extra expansion bays. Slide a burner into an expansion bay, tighten the retaining screws and connect the data ribbon cable to the drive and motherboard. Repeat for as many writer drives as you want to install in your new CD duplicator. Turn on the computer. The computer will recognise and configure the new writer drives automatically.
Purchase a license for Nero Burning ROM, then download and install the application on the new CD duplicator computer. Other CD burning programs allow you to copy a disc from one drive to another, but Nero Burning ROM supports the copying of one CD/DVD disc to multiple writers at once.
Place the CD or DVD you want to copy into the CD/DVD ROM drive of the CD duplicator computer. Place blank CDs or DVDs into the burner drives you installed earlier.
Double-click the Nero Burning ROM desktop icon to launch the application. Click the "Burn" button on the main tool bar. When the "Burn" window appears, click and select the "Burn to Multiple Drives Option." Click and select all of the CD/DVD burner drives installed in the CD duplicator computer. Click the "Burn" button near the bottom of the window. Nero begins copying the source disc to all burner drives installed in your computer.
Wait for Nero to complete the copy process, then remove all CDs or DVDs from the drives. Insert the new disc copies one at a time into the CD/DVD ROM drive and test them to ensure the data copy was successful.
