How to Uninstall a CloneDVD Trial

Updated July 19, 2017

Although DVD players have built-in error correction, any disc can become unplayable if it has enough scratches. For this reason, it's a good idea to back up your movie collection. CloneDVD is a program that can copy a DVD to your computer so that you will not lose it if the disc is ruined. There are other programs with similar capabilities, and if you have tried the CloneDVD trial and decided that you prefer something else, you can remove it from your computer to reclaim hard drive space.

Click the "Start" button, and then click "All Programs."

Browse to the "Elaborate Bytes" folder, and select the "CloneDVD" folder.

Click the "Uninstall" icon. A confirmation window will appear explaining that you are about to uninstall the CloneDVD trial from your computer.

Click the "Uninstall" button. A progress meter will appear. After a moment, a window will appear asking if you would like Windows to retain the CloneDVD registration information on your computer.

Click "No" to delete the registration information for CloneDVD.

Click the "Close" button to return to the desktop.
