If you want to grow your hair long as quickly as possible, there are some measures you can take to encourage and support the process naturally. The decision to grow your hair out is a commitment; patience and proper care are required to achieve the preferred final product. If you are consistent, your hair will grow. No extensions, no chemicals or special formulas, just you and your beautiful, long hair.

Skill level:

  1. 1

Massage your scalp with your fingertips daily to encourage blood circulation and more productive hair growth. Use small, circular motions and make sure to cover the entire area. You can do this in the shower while you shampoo or during any part of the day.

  2. 2

Take specific vitamins and minerals that encourage healthy hair growth, such as B6, folic acid, magnesium and zinc.

  3. 3

Eat lots of green, yellow and orange fruits and vegetables because they contain beta carotene, which is wonderful for growing hair and supporting its health.

  4. 4

Make sure you are getting an adequate amount of protein, as protein levels directly affect the health and growth your hair and nails. You can find lots of protein in meat, beans and eggs.

  5. 5

Get lots of sleep each night, anywhere between seven and nine hours. A proper sleep routine is critical when growing hair, because fatigue and stress can cause the growth to be stunted.
