Written by oxana fox | 13/05/2017

Acer Aspire 5315 is a popular laptop model that features the fast Intel Celeron processor and 2GB of computer memory. BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) stands for a special program (firmware) integrated into the computer motherboard. BIOS allows a user to configure hardware including, for example, a keyboard, hard and optical drives and to tweak certain system settings, such as the computer boot sequence. However, some BIOS changes could affect the laptop performance or even destabilise the system. In such a case, you may need to reset the BIOS to factory default settings.

Reboot your Acer Aspire 5315 notebook.

Wait about 30 seconds until you see the Acer logo on your laptop screen.

Press the "F2" key on the keyboard to enter the Acer Aspire 5315 laptop BIOS menu.

Select the BIOS option “Load Default Setting” using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Then press "Enter."

Press the "F10" key to save the BIOS that is reset to the factory default settings.
