How to locate someone by name and date of birth

Updated February 21, 2017

If you are trying to find someone and you know their date of birth and name, you can use this information to find them. There are multiple online people searches available, some of them allowing you to search by name and date of birth (see Resources). This is a fast way to locate someone because it will narrow down your search a lot more than it would if you simply searched by name.

  1. Visit Wink online people search (see Resources). This website allows you to search and locate people by using their name and city. You will be able to look at results by age.

  2. Enter the subject's name into the name field and enter the town where you think that person lives. It is not a problem if you get the town wrong. Press the "Search" button. The website will now scan a range of sources including social media sites.

  3. Calculate the person's age from their date of birth. Look through the list of results to try to find that person. You will see the name, location and age of everyone who matches the name you entered. Many entries also include pictures to help with identification.
