In some instances, you will need to update Flash through a proxy due to network restrictions keeping you from accessing the Flash update web page or because you want to update Flash through an anonymous and secure server, which is one of the features a proxy delivers.     Visit the Unblock Proxy Server website to update Flash through its anonymous server (see Resources). Unblock Proxy Server is a proxy that enables you to access websites that are restricted on your network for free and keeps you secure and anonymous by hiding your IP address.

    Type the URL for the Flash web page that features updates for the application (see Resources) in the text box displayed on the Unblock Proxy Server page.
