Worn by motorcycle racers and riders worldwide, HJC's line of helmets are well known for their durability, style and ease of use. A great deal of development has allowed HJC to refine their shield-retention system, allowing the helmet's wearer to quickly remove a dirty or damaged face shield without the need for tools. In fact, the system is so simple that the face shield can be removed in just seconds, making it easier for racers to stay in competition at the racetrack and for street riders to enjoy their ride without hassle.

    Open the helmet's face shield completely. Take note of the release latches on the shield's pivoting mechanisms on both sides of the helmet.

    Push the release latches back, away from the front of the helmet to unlock the face shield.

  3. 3

    Pull the face shield's tabs out of the pivoting mechanism. Set the face shield aside.
