How to clean your Merrell shoes

Merrell designs shoes and trainers for outdoor enthusiasts. They manufacture several different styles and designs for men, women and children, such as hiking boots, sandals and trekky trainers. Keep your Merrell footwear in prime condition by removing dirt and stains regularly.

  1. Place the shoes outdoors. Brush the Merrell shoes with a brush to remove mud and dirt. If needed, remove the insoles of the shoes and shake out any dust and dirt.

  2. Place a squirt of a mild liquid soap into a bucket. Use a mild liquid washing powder, washing-up liquid or hand soap. Fill the bucket with 4.5 litres of warm water.

  3. Dip a clean cloth or rag in the soapy water. Squeeze to remove excess moisture. Wipe the shoes with the damp cloth. Scrub as needed to remove stains. Continue cleaning the entire surface of the shoes, including the soles, until the shoe is clean.

  4. Dampen a clean cloth or rag in cool water. Wipe down the shoes to remove any soap residue.

  5. Allow the shoes to air dry. Repeat the cleaning process if stains remain.
