How to make a leaflet holder
Display leaflets for an organisation or a business in a basic leaflet holder created from two shallow cardboard boxes. Vary the size of the boxes for a larger or smaller holder, depending on your needs, but use two boxes of the same size.
This leaflet holder can be displayed on any flat surface, including a table, desk or shelf. Dress up the holder by painting the cardboard boxes or covering them with construction or wrapping paper.
Cut the tops off both boxes and trim them to size if needed. Place one box on a table, top facing up. Insert the other box on its side, with the top facing forward, inside the first box.
Cut the poster board to measure 11 inches wide and 20 inches tall.
Cut the three sheets of plastic to measure 11 inches wide and 6 inches high.
Attach the sheets of plastic to the poster board to create clear pockets. Place the bottom of the first pocket 11 inches from the top of the front of the poster board. Staple the plastic to the sides of the poster board and tape the bottom of the clear pocket to the poster board.
Position the second clear plastic pocket 4 1/2 inches from the bottom of the top pocket and staple the sides to the poster board and tape the bottom. Position the bottom pocket at the bottom of the poster board, and staple and tape to secure.
Insert the poster board in the front of the bottom box and lean it back, resting it on the upturned box. Fill the clear pockets with leaflets.
