How to Install Suunto Strap Adapters on a Casio Mudman

Updated March 23, 2017

A watch strap that fits properly is important for your comfort and style. If you choose, it is possible to change the strap on your watch for one you find more comfortable. If you wish to add a Suunto Velcro strap to a Casio Mudman you must add strap adaptors so it will fit the Mudman casing. When the strap adaptors are installed they leave a slight gap between the casing and the clip.

Remove the screws that hold the old Casio Mudman strap in place with the screwdriver.

Align the adaptors ("c"-shaped pieces of plastic through which a strap can be fed when attached) to each side of the watch casing screw holes, where the old strap was attached. The Suunto strap adaptors come supplied with the Suunto watch band.

Feed a screw through each hole in the adaptor and then into the casing slot that it is aligned with. The casing slot is the hole on the edge of the watch back that the old strap was attached to. Do the same for each hole. Tighten the screws to secure the clips in place.

Feed the new watch strap through the clips.
