Facebook is a free social networking site. Each user has an account where he can keep in touch with friends. The user logs into the account using an e-mail address and password. Each user can decide who can see the status updates, pictures, videos and other information posted to the account. Users can choose to log on by typing the email and password each time, or they can choose to log in automatically.

Navigate to the Facebook website (see Resources).
Type your e-mail address into the "Email" text box.
Type your password into the "Password" text box.
Click the square box next to the "Keep me logged in" option. Make sure a checkmark is visible inside the box.
Click the "Login" button to log into your account. You will not have to enter your e-mail address and password again unless you choose the "Logout" option under the "Account" menu.
