If you are considering a new paint job for your Nissan 350Z, you should not neglect the front reflectors. Their stock colour may clash with the new paint and destroy the effect you imagined. Fortunately, it is very easy to switch the front reflectors yourself and save the money it would cost to pay a mechanic to do it for you. While it is possible to replace the front reflectors without removing the bumper, it requires shaped screwdrivers and is not as easy.

Things you need
- Flat head screwdriver
- 10mm socket wrench
Open the bonnet and use the flat head screwdriver to remove the six clips on top of the bumper.
Remove the eight screws underneath the front of the car with the 10mm socket wrench. Five will be along the front edge while three will be farther back.
Remove the two screws on both sides of the car where the bumper and fender meet with the 10mm socket wrench.
Take the bumper off. If it does not come off easily, check all of the above-mentioned areas again to make sure you did not miss any screws.
Remove the two screws that secure the old front reflector, and replace it with the new front reflector.
Replace the bumper.
Replace the two screws on the sides where the bumper and fender meet.
Replace the eight screws on the underside of the car.
Replace the six clips on the top of the bumper and close the bonnet.
Tips and warnings
- Consider wearing soft gloves and using a plastic screwdriver or covering the tip of a metal screwdriver with a thin towel to prevent scratches to the car's exterior.
