How to Remove a Ford Fiesta MK6 Stereo

The Ford Fiesta is a subcompact European hatchback and sedan available in three-, four and five-door models. It has a roomy interior, with the stereo in the centre console. You need din release keys to remove the stereo from the sixth-generation Fiesta. These are available at most auto parts stores.

  1. Park the Ford Fiesta on level ground.

  2. Slide two din keys into the four holes of the Fiesta's stereo, two on each side of the stereo.

  3. Slide out the keys from the holes to release the stereo from the centre console.

  4. Pull on the wiring and the aerial connections from behind the stereo to detach it.
