There's nothing like scary ghosts and goblins to make a haunted house or a ghost themed party more authentic. Skeletons, caskets and floating ghost heads are all great ways to get an extra scream or two when you're trying to cause a scare. If you'd like to make a ghost hologram, all you need is a few supplies like a plastic sheet and a small television.

Things you need
- Big ScreamTV DVD
- Black sheet
- Clear tape
- DVD player
- Milk crate
- Rigid clear plastic sheet
- Small television
- Various other Halloween decorations
Insert your BigScreamTV DVD into your DVD player and pause it when the first goblin or ghost head appears. Adjust the brightness on your television so that the part of the screen with no image is completely black. Adjust the contrast or picture to make the head as bright as possible without distorting the head. This will make the head appear as if it's floating on a black background.
Find a place to display the hologram that is highly visible, like a window. Unplug your television and place it in a box. Set the box on top of the milk crate and slide it directly beneath your window. The television screen should be facing up. Connect your television to a DVD player and place the player on the ground. Plug in both the television and DVD.
Place the plastic sheet diagonally over the television. Tape the top of the plastic against the window and the bottom against the bottom edge of the television. Use clear tape. The plastic sheet should be wider and taller than your television set.
Tac a black sheet to the ceiling around the television set. Place a small table in front of the sheet and add other Halloween decorations. This will serve as your background for your head and the black sheet will help the hologram appear more clearly.
Turn on the television, the DVD player and play the DVD. You've now reflected the image from the television onto the plastic. This creates the illusion of a floating head.
