How to Reboot Windows CE

Updated February 21, 2017

Windows CE is a version of the Windows computer operating system that runs on older computers or machines that don't have the extensive system resources of newer computers. Windows CE also runs on a wide variety of devices like smart phones and PDAs. This offers you much of the same functionality you would expect to have on a Windows-based desktop or laptop computer with an interface designed to take advantage of smaller amounts of RAM and slower processors. Rebooting Windows CE, just like rebooting the regular Windows operating system, involves shutting the device off and turning it back on again.

Click the "Start" button.

Click the "Run" menu.

Click the "Restart" option to reboot your Windows CE computer or portable device.
