How to Make a Catwoman Mask

Updated April 17, 2017

Catwoman is one of the only female Batman villains and, as such, is rather popular. Throughout the years, we have seen many interpretations of this character and several women each year dress up as Catwoman for Halloween. The Catwoman costume is very simple to re-create and the mask is quite possibly the simplest part of the costume to make. The best part about making your own Catwoman costume is that you can add your own personal flair to it.

Try the skull cap on your head and use a piece of chalk to mark where you would like the ears to be. Cut out 2 triangles (about 3 inches tall and 3 inches wide at the base) from the construction paper and glue them on top of the chalk marks.

Cut a rectangle of construction paper that is 8 inches by 4 inches. Place this rectangle horizontally across the upper part of your face and use the chalk to mark where you want the eye holes to be.

Cut 2 eye holes out of the rectangle. Cut a notch at the bottom of the piece for your nose to come through. Round off the edges of the construction paper.

Cut 2 pieces of black ribbon, each 12 inches long, and hot glue one to each end of the mask. Put the skull cap on first, and then put the mask on by tying the ribbons together at the back of your head.
