  1. 1

Cut out burlap squares according to the size that you desire.

  2. 2

Place the party favours in the centre of the square. If you use small trinkets or candy as the gifts, pile them in a small mound.

  3. 3

Gather the edges of the burlap in one hand. Twist the contents of the sack to form a tight closure.

  4. 4

Use a rubber band to hold the burlap sack closed. Cover up the rubber band with a piece of twine or ribbon.

  5. 5

Print out personalised memo tags, and insert them into the final tie of the twine or ribbon.

Tips and warnings

  • Avoid using party favours that may have sharp edges. Edges may poke through the burlap material.
