There isn’t an official Pimm's Christmas cocktail. However, if you want to make one anyway, you could try Stirred Not Shaken's recipe for an exotic Pimm's Christmas drink. This uses Pimm's No. 1 Cup, which has a red colour and spicy aroma that summons up the Christmas mood. Combine it with fresh ingredients and mixers to add an exotic combination of supporting tastes.

Instructions

  1. 1

Take a cocktail shaker. Add one measure of Pimm's No. 1 Cup. Pour in one measure of passion fruit juice. Top this up with just over one measure of lemonade. Add cranberry juice to taste. Shake well.

  2. 2

Select a unique glass. Sugar the rim by placing it into a little lemon or lime juice, then onto a patch of sugar. Tip some crushed ice into the glass. Pour the exotic Pimms Christmas cocktail over the ice.

  3. 3

Chop a portion of apple. Slice a section of cucumber. Chop a few mint leaves. Pull apart some orange segments. Add these and other fresh ingredients, as required, to the glass.

  4. 4

Stirred Not Shaken also suggest adding cocktail parasols and other decorations to aid presentation. Cocktail parasols are small paper umbrellas that open and close like real umbrellas. Swizzle sticks are spoon-like sticks to stir the drink or hold fruit garnishes. You can also add fuzzy animals, palm tree honeycomb picks, exotic straws and sparklers.
