Plush Pippin Pie Baking Instructions

Frozen pies are a delightful treat that take the work out of making and serving a dessert. Produced in Kent, Washington, Plush Pippin Pies are an example of a pre-made frozen pie that is commonly found in the frozen-food section of a variety of department and food stores. If you desire a pie on hand for any occasion, purchasing Plush Pippin's variety and baking it yourself is simple.

  1. Preheat the oven to 246 degrees Celsius.

  2. Remove the plastic wrapping and any other protective packaging -- discard or recycle it. Only the pie and aluminium pie pan should remain.

  3. Cover the edges of the pie with aluminium foil so they do not burn during the cooking process.

  4. Insert the pie into the oven on the middle rack.

  5. Bake for 10 minutes, and then cut small slits in the top of the pie to let out excess steam.

  6. Bake the pie for an additional 40 to 50 minutes.

  7. Remove the aluminium foil and discard it. Continue baking the pie for 10 minutes.

  8. Remove the pie from the oven using the oven gloves.

  9. Allow the pie to cool for at least five minutes, or cool completely, before serving.
