Hi, I'm magician Paul Weatherbee, and this is the tutorial on how to make a pencil float. For this, you're going to need a pencil. I'm going to show you what it looks like, and then I'm going to tell you the secret. First, show a pencil. Everyone can see the pencil. Nothing in my hand, now watch very closely. Watch. The pencil is floating. Wait a minute, move around pencil, I command you. Look at the pencil move back and forth. Look at that. Go, look at it go. And there you have it. And that is the floating pencil magic trick. It's something that you want to do real quickly. It's something you can do at school. It's just something to some fun with. It's not going, well it might fool some people, but you can't fool all the people all the time. This is the secret to the floating pencil magic trick. You'll notice I held it in my hand like this, and I held my wrist with my other hand. What you probably didn't notice is one of my fingers is missing. That's right. When you look at it from the back, it's not nearly as impressive. You're just holding it with your pointer finger. So, when you go to hang on to your hand, put your pointer finger behind there. Looks a little something like this from behind. Have the pencil in your hand, open up your hand, put your finger on the pencil, wiggle it back and forth, and that's all there is to it. What could be easier than that? The floating pencil magic trick. Again, like I said, do it quick, hand fun, do it when people aren't expecting it. I'm magician Paul Weatherbee.
