Beauty, as it is often said, is in the eye of the beholder, and the range of both physical and personality quirks that attract men is numberless. A few quirks, in particular, are attractive to a significant percentage of men.

Women in the Victorian era considered freckles a blemish, and many women still try to cover them up with make-up, men often find them attractive. Freckles convey a girlish appearance,, have a natural look and a sense of innocence that many men seek.

Independent Personality

Many men are attracted to women with an independent personality. Though you might think that a less aggressive outlook on life would cater to a man's protective instinct and attraction, men recognise an independent streak as having value as well since such a partner is more likely to give her man his space and not feel jealous when he wants a night out with the guys.

Even if you lack the airbrushed Hollywood look, you can attract many guys. Mass media tends to market a specific type of beauty that many women feel they have to measure up to, but men are attracted by a much wider variety of physical features. Having a face or body that differs from standard ideas of beauty can sometimes actually help you stand out, drawing men's attention.

Though many women choose to wear uncomfortable contact lenses in an effort to avoid glasses, men often find them attractive. Glasses can convey a more intelligent appearance and remind some men of women they loved in earlier decades, creating a sense of nostalgia that can build attraction. Don't just wear any old pair, however; the appeal of glasses can vary depending on the style, so ask a male friend what he thinks about a new pair before buying them.
