The second generation iPod nano, model number A1199, was released by Apple in 2006. It comes in five different colours, and you could get a 2, 4 or 8GB model. Like many Apple products, it still works with current versions of iTunes, so even though it's an older model, you can still use the iPod nano to play music or podcasts and view photos. Before you start using it, however, check to see if your nano has the most recent software update.
