How to Put Pictures Together to Make One on Microsoft Office

Microsoft can stitch two or more photos to create a panoramic effect. For example, if you photographed an expansive cityscape in three overlapping shots, the Windows Live Photo Gallery will merge the three shots into one panoramic photo. The "Create" tab on the command Ribbon contains the "Panorama" button. The saved file can insert into an Office 2010 program, such as Word or Excel.

Click the "Start" button. The "Start" menu opens.

Type "Windows Live Photo Gallery" in the "Search programs and files" text box. A list appears.

Choose "Windows Live Photo Gallery" from the list. A window opens.

Hold the "Ctrl" key and click two or more thumbnail images.

Click the "Create" tab.

Select the "Panorama" button in the "Tools" group. A window shows the stitching progress and closes when stitching completes. A dialogue window appears.

Type a file name in the "File name" text box.

Click "Save." Windows creates a new file from two or more images.

Open a Microsoft Office 2010 program. For example, you might choose a Word document or an Excel worksheet.

Click where you wish to insert the saved panoramic image.

Press the "Insert" tab on the command Ribbon.

Click the "Picture" button in the "Illustrations" group.

Select the location where your panoramic image file is saved. For example, choose the Desktop or the Pictures library. Click the file.

Click "Insert." The image appears on the document. Pull the image's handles located on the perimeter or frame to adjust the size.


To enhance your panoramic photo, click the "Edit" tab on the Windows Live Photo Gallery ribbon. Select options from the "Adjustments" and "Effects" groups.
