Open Internet Explorer and click on "Tools" on the right side of the page. Scroll down and select "Internet Options." A dialogue box will appear.
Select the "General" tab. Click the "Delete" button in the "Browsing history" section. A dialogue box will appear.
Place a check mark next to all values and click "Delete." Allow the system to delete the Internet history files.
Click on "Settings" in the "Browsing history" section. Click the "View" files button. The Temporary Internet Files folder will appear.
Press "Ctrl-A" on your keyboard to highlight all files within the folder. Press the "Del" button on your keyboard. Allow the computer to delete all files in the folder. Close the window and press "OK." Restart Internet Explorer.
Open Mozilla Firefox and click on "Tools" at the top of the file menu. Scroll down and select "Options." The Options window appears.
Click on the "Privacy" tab at the top of the window.
Click the link that reads, "clear your recent history." The Clear Recent History dialogue box will appear.
Click the "Time range to clear" drop-down menu and select "Everything."
Click the "Details" drop-down arrow. Place a check-mark next to "Browsing & Download History," "Form & Search History," "Cookies" and "Cache." Click "Clear Now." Allow the browser to clear everything then click "OK." Restart Firefox.
Click on "Safari" in your dock to open the browser.
Click on "History" in the file menu at the top of the window.
Scroll down and click on "Clear History" to erase all browser history.
Click on "Safari" in the file menu at the top of the window.
