Card table tents are fun for kids of all ages. You create the tent by placing a sheet or fabric over the card table. The child can use this tent as a fort, tent, or place of refuge. Depending on the size of the table and amount of fabric, the tent created can house a couple of kids. Let your kids explore their imaginations with their own card table tent.

  1. 1

Locate a card table or extra unused table in your home. Sometime these tables are folded away when not being used. If it is folded away, expand the legs and stand it upright.

  2. 2

Find a sheet or piece of fabric that is large enough to cover the table.

  3. 3

Place the sheet or fabric over the table, covering the entire table. If you need more than one sheet, attach them with clothespins.

  4. 4

Leave an opening where the two sheets meet to provide a door for the tent. Pin the sheet back with one of the clothespins.

  5. 5

Grab a pillow to two so the children can have some comfort items. Add flashlights, books, and treats for your children as they enjoy their new tent.
