Necklace display cards can help make your handmade jewellery look professional and appealing. You can make your display cards in various shapes, such as hearts, flowers or even geometrical shapes to give out as gifts. Even if you keep your necklaces for yourself, necklace display cards might help organise and keep your necklaces from tangling with others in jewellery boxes.

Cut a piece of cardboard into a 5-inch square. Cardboard is more durable to hold your jewellery in place than construction paper.

Locate the middle of the display card along each side. Cut a single 1-inch slit on each side of the cardboard. Use the hole punch to make a hole in the middle of the top of the card.

Cut a 6-inch-long ribbon. Insert the ribbon through the hole and tie the two ends of the ribbon together. The ribbon will allow you to hang your display cards.

Decorate the necklace display card with embellishments such as glitter. You could also draw or paint your designs. Do not cover the slits on the sides with any of decorations.

Carefully bring the centre of the necklace toward the middle of the display card and hold it there. Tuck the sides of the necklace into the slits of the card. A majority of the length of the necklace should now hang behind the display card.

Lower the centre of the necklace a little so that the necklace does not appear stretched across the front of the display card.

Gently fold the remaining length of the necklace in the back of the card and secure it neatly with a piece of tape. Secure the back of the necklace to the card with a sticker for a more decorative choice.
