If you're a fan of updating your friends with your every move, there's a way in which you can do it speedily and easily. Not only that, but without the complication of not being able to delete the photographs you send. The Snapchat smart phone application allows you to send photos and videos to contacts that last from one second to ten, depending on how long you want the receiver to be able to view it. The image is then hidden from the receiver and deleted from the company's files.
How to use Snapchat with shortcuts
First off, Snapchat is largely used for photography. To send pictures using the app - simply take a photo and choose a contact to send it to.
Try taking videos. Like another application called Vine, you can send short videos to contacts, but unlike Vine, of course, these videos self-destruct.
The video option is exactly like the camera option, and the videos can be as long as you choose to hold down the "record" button for. When done, just choose your contacts and send it like you did previously.
If you want to make your photo black and white, type in "B&w..." If you want to make the photo a negative or sepia-toned, write "Negative..." and "Sepia..." in the text box.
To make the crayon colour white, simply click the rainbow colour bar and drag your finger across the screen to the upper left-hand corner. To do this in black, drag your finger to the lower left.
The entire rainbow exists in between the upper white and black, so get painting!
Due to the nature of Snapchat and the possibly questionable content that is sent out to contacts, parents might find the application off-limits.
While the photos are deleted, Snapchat keeps a log of who was sent a photo or video.
