How to Make Silly Putty With Flour

Updated April 17, 2017

Silly Putty is made by Crayola, comes in an egg and a great kids' toy thanks to its sticky, bouncy and gooey properties. 1. Mix flour and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Make sure the ingredients are mixed thoroughly before proceeding to the next step.

  2. Add the white glue slowly and continue mixing until all of it has been incorporated into the flour mixture.

  3. Add the water slowly while stirring. Continue adding water until the mixture achieves its desired putty-like consistency.

  4. Mix in a few drops of food colouring until the putty achieves the colour you want. You can split the putty between bowls to make several different colours.
