Hi, I'm Aaron, a graduate at the University of the Arts, with my B.F.A. in drawing and painting. And today, I'll be showing you how to draw a simple family tree, using a soft, compressed charcoal. And any marks that you're unhappy with, can be erased simply, using a kneaded eraser. Which is the best eraser to use for compressed charcoal. O.k., so we're going to start with grandma and grandpa, designated as G, and P. Now, let's say, they have three children. They will be Kathy, Elly and Mark. Kathy meets a Steve, Elly meets her Brent, and Mark meets a different Cathy. So, here we have two children, Anne and Michael. Elly and Brent as well, two children, Jordan and Bryan. Mark and Cathy, they actually have one child, Dave. And that there is a simple family tree.
