Hi, I'm Judith Arnell with Judith Arnell Jewelers in Portland, Oregon, and in this segment, we're going to talk about cleaning stainless steel watches. When cleaning a stainless watch, we're primarily concerned with the watch band. So, what you would need is a small, soft toothbrush, and you would put it in a mild detergent. There are many stores that can sell a cleaning agent for this purpose. But a dish detergent will also work, and you would take your toothbrush and gently try not to scratch the links, get in between all the links, and clean it off and rinse it off. Try to keep the water away from the crown, the face of your watch. So, you could also lay it down on a piece of cloth, use your detergent, clean it, and you can rinse it under hot water, but keep again, keep the hot water away from the actual watch. Even if it is waterproof, it's best to keep away. Just all the way around. Go on the inside. Clean the inside. Rinse. Dry with a very soft cloth and you've got a nice, clean watch. I'm Judith Arnell, and that's how you clean a stainless steel watch.
