The Simplicity 38 dehumidifier is made to help reduce the overall humidity levels in a room or home, and can be useful in warm or humid climates or during warm or humid months. The unit is sold online and in select department or appliance stores, and it includes a filter, quiet operation, electronic control panel, automatic humidity sensors, temperature controls, adjustable humidity settings, automatic defrost, two speed settings, water indicator light and removable water tank. Operating the dehumidifier is fairly simple, but it should only be done by adults.

Set the Simplicity dehumidifier on a stable, level surface with no objects or furniture blocking the airflow.

Plug the dehumidifier into a grounded power outlet.

Press "Mode" to select "Dehumidify," followed by the arrow buttons to select the desired temperature or relative humidity percentage.

Press the fan symbol to turn the fan on to "High" or "Low" speed.

Press "I/O" to begin operating the dehumidifier.

Turn off the dehumidifier if the water tank gets full or the water tank indicator light is illuminated. Pull the water tank forward and out of the front of the unit, and empty it into a sink. Push it back into position on the unit before restoring power.

Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier and clean the filter on a regular basis. Pull the filter out from the upper right-hand side of the unit. Vacuum or rinse with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Slide the filter back into the unit until it clicks into place.
