Panasonic manufactures several models of cordless phones designed for home and office use. Resetting a malfunctioning phone will restore factory settings, but will also cause you to lose all stored information, such as saved phone numbers.
Slide the battery cover from the back of the Panasonic cordless phone.
Lift the battery or battery pack from the battery compartment.
Unplug the power adaptor from the phone base. The power adaptor pulls out of the outlet on the back of the unit. Remove the phone line from the bottom of the base.
Leave everything disconnected for 60 seconds.
Plug the phone line and power adaptor back into the phone base.
Place the battery back into the battery compartment. Slide the battery cover over the compartment. The phone has now been reset.
