The Fiat Punto MK1 debuted in 1993 and won the Car of the Year Award in Europe in 1995. It was a replacement for the Fiat Uno, and it remained in production until 1999. The Punto was more aerodynamic than the Uno, but it did keep one similarity with the Uno: the internal cabin space. There were seven versions of the Punto MK1: the 55 SX, the 85 ELX, the 75 SX ELX, the Sporting, the GT, the Punto Cabrio S, and the Punto Cabrio ELX.

55 SX Specifications
