Gluten Free Products List

According to the Mayo Clinic, "a gluten-free diet is a diet that excludes the protein gluten." The diet is used to treat coeliac disease, a digestive condition caused by eating foods containing gluten. Cakes, pastas, breads, and foods that have rye, wheat, or barely in them all contain gluten. Gluten intolerance is a common diagnose and because of which, many companies now produce food products to accommodate those living gluten-free.

General Mills

A number of General Mills cereal are gluten-free. The company's "Rice Chex," "Corn Chex," "Honey Nut Chex," "Chocolate Chex," and "Cinnamon Chex" cereal are all to the benefit of the gluten intolerant. The gluten-free cereals are not only good for breakfast, but also for making snacks and desserts. Gluten-free chex-bars and chex-mix are two other ways to use the cereal. Other gluten-free recipes for the cereal are available at the "Chex" website.

Blue Diamond

Nondairy beverages, various flavoured crackers, and the bulk of the almond products sold by “Blue Diamond” are all gluten-free. According to the “Blue Diamond” website, the company is a sponsor of the Celiac Disease Foundation and the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness. "Blue Diamond" is therefore cautious of what ingredients are used in its products. “We pay attention to the ingredients we use in our products and work to find new products that meet the wheat-free, gluten-free standard,” explains the “Blue Diamond” website.

Meat products are naturally gluten-free, but meat is not free from possible gluten contamination during processing. “Jennie-O Turkey Store” provides many gluten-free turkey products that are carefully processed to maintain their gluten-free state. “Frozen Ground Turkey,” “Frozen Turkey Burgers,” “Breakfast Lover's Turkey Sausage,” and “Extra Lean and Regular Turkey Bacon” are only the beginning of a long list of gluten-free products produced by “Jennie-O.”

Red Mill

According to the “Bob’s Red Mill” website, the company produces “a full line of certified gluten-free products.” Amongst those products are all purpose baking flour, brownie mix, cake mix, chocolate chip cookie mix, and whole grain bread mix. Several recipes explaining how to use “Bob’s Red Mill” products are available at the company’s website.
