When it is time for your boyfriend’s birthday, you want to make sure that you can do something special that will show him how much you care. However, if you are a teenager, you may find that what you want to do may just be a bit out of your price range. Luckily, there are several inexpensive gestures you can make that will be perfect for your relationship and budget.

Throw a Party

Throwing your boyfriend a party is something that he will remember for a long time, especially if you put the whole thing together. Start by choosing a location for the grand event. You should ask your parents or his parents if you can have it at your house. Once a location is set, gather together all of his friends and set about the task of planning activities. If he is really into video games, have someone bring over Rock Band or a game like Halo that can be played by many people. See if anyone knows how to use the grill so there can be food at the party. Make sure to stock all of his favourite music and soda so he has everything he may want at the party. For something else that's fun, plan a scavenger hunt of some kind so the party isn’t just music and video games.

Make Him Dinner

If you are looking for something more intimate, cook him a nice dinner and make a romantic evening out of it. For this, you may want to do it at your house since you know how the kitchen is set up. Get a recipe for his favourite meal and cook the entire thing. Set up a table somewhere private in your house and set up tablecloths, use nice silverware and add candles to make the ambience perfect. If you want to have as much time as possible with him, cook it and then enlist the help of family or friends to serve the meal. For a nice touch, get a bottle of sparkling cider and make a toast to him.

Gifts

If you are looking for gifts, you have several options. If you have the funds, buy him something he really wants. This can be a video game or paraphernalia from his favourite sports team. If you want save money, buy and decorate a picture frame with your picture in it, or use your computer and create a scrapbook of your time together. If your first date was to see a movie, buy him a copy of the movie poster and place it in a frame to hang in his room. Any gift that has some significance for the both of you is always a good choice.
