In the online game "MapleStory," players are able to customise their avatars to create a unique look. Once your character reaches level 30, you can visit "Claudia," the nonplayable character stylist in Amoria for a chance to change your hair style. Not only can she give you free, random hairstyles, completing the "Beauty or Beast" quest can win you a coupon for additional hair styles.

Amoria "Beauty or Beast" Quest

After speaking with Claudia, she will ask you to bring her 25 "Squishy Liquids." This item is dropped when "Slime" monsters are defeated. Slimes are a level 7 enemy that can be hunted in the "Shining Forest Path" and within the "Chimney Tree" maps. Once you have collected them, you can exchange them with Claudia for experience points and an EXP Coupon that can be used at the salon.

Beauty or Beast: Free Hairstyles

Completing Amoria's "Beauty or Beast" quest will change your character's hair style. The style you will receive is completely random and cannot be predetermined. Styles range from simple bowl cuts and buzzes to bald heads. Since you cannot choose a style, be sure you are willing to trade your current hair because there is a chance the one you receive will not satisfy your personal style preferences.

Female EXP Hairstyles

The EXP Coupon Claudia awards you with can be used to obtain one of three exclusive hairstyles for your female character. The "Maiden's Weave" is a long, flowing style, with fringe held back by a white headband. "Cecilia's Twist" is a classic up-do, while the "Cutie Wave" is a chin-length crimp style. The colour of your EXP hairstyle will vary.

Male EXP Hairstyles

The EXP Coupon Claudia awards you with can be used to obtain one of three exclusive hairstyles for your male character. "Eternal Elegance" is a very short, clean cut style. "Metro Man" is a medium-length style, with hair brushed back and extending to the shoulders, while "Creme Soft" is an airy, feathered style with fringe.
