If you have excess wire storage cubes at your house, then it may be time to put them to good use. There are a wide variety of ways to utilise wire storage cubes in creative way. So be creative. Identify the needs for storage around your house, and then try to use the wire cubes to fit those needs.

Plastic Containers

If your kitchen cabinets are overrun with plastic containers and their matching covers, then consider tossing them all in a wire storage cube that can fit in one of the bottom cabinets. This makes locating the containers easy, and fits well with the personality that likes to have things grouped in the kitchen, but not perfectly organised.

Craft Catch-All

Organise your crafting supplies using a wire storage cube. You can place two wire storage containers on the top of your crafting table and fill them with materials that your children use often. For example, fill one cube with paper tablets, construction paper and white paper. Fill the other cube with markers, crayons and coloured pencils. You may need to cut a "floor' from a piece of poster board or cardboard if the wire mesh is too wide for smaller items. The children will know where the materials are when they want them --- and they'll know where to return them when it's time to clean up.

Towels and Sheets

If you are running out of room for towels and sheets in your bathroom closet --- or if your bathroom closet looks like a hurricane swept through, then consider folding your towels and sheets and placing them into extra storage cubes. The cubes may fit on your bathroom closet shelves, or they will stack nicely if you place them on the floor of the closet. This gives you easy, ordered access to the towels.

Boots and Umbrellas

Create a "station" at your front door where your children can shed their wet boots and umbrellas by placing a trio of storage cubes in your foyer. Boots will go in one cube. Wet umbrellas in another. Consider placing the cues on a plastic mat or rug. The water will drain off the boots and other wet materials and soak into the rug or accumulate on the mat for easy clean-up.
