How to Create Illustrator Graphs Using Excel

Adobe Illustrator is a design program that equals Microsoft Excel's database capabilities. By using both programs, you are able to design a high-tech graph with compelling aesthetics. Excel is one of the easiest programs for creating graphs. Consider it like an assist in basketball. Copy the file in Excel and paste it to Illustrator. There is no need to convert it. Just save the graph in Illustrator and you are ready to go.

    Open your Excel program. Click on the "File" or "Microsoft" button. Click on the "New" tab in the drop-down menu. Click on the "OK" button.

    Click on the "Charts" tab. Select the chart or graph you want to make. Click on the "Select Data" icon in the "Data" tab.

    Input or select the data to make the chart. Right-click on the chart. Select the "Copy" option.

    Open your Illustrator program. Click on the "File" tab in the top left corner of the window. Select the "New" option.

    Click on the "Edit" button on the top toolbar. Select the"Paste" option.

    Modify or save the file. To save the file, click on the "File" tab. Select the "Save as" option. Type in the title and press the "Save" button. Your Illustrator graph using Excel is completed.
