Accessing Facebook from your iPhone brings you to the Facebook Touch Mobile website. Although this version of Facebook is smaller and more limited than the full-size Facebook website, you can still perform basic functions. One of the functions includes removing tags from photos. You can remove any tag you've added to one of your own photos, or your personal tag that others have added to photos of you.

Open your iPhone browser and navigate to touch.facebook.com. Sign in to your Facebook account, if you aren't already signed in.
Tap "Profile" then tap "Photos." Tap on the photo album you want to access. If you want to remove a tag from a photo you've been tagged in, tap "Photos of You."
Tap "See 12 More Photos" if you don't see the photo in question. The system only loads 12 at a time to optimise speed.
Tap on the photo. Tap "Remove" next to your name, of next to the name of the person you've tagged in the photo.
Tap "Remove" again to verify you want to remove the tag.
