Personal audio has moved forward a great deal in the past couple of decades. It has seen the transition from cassettes to CDs and MiniDiscs before the arrival of MP3 and MP4 audio devices that enable the user to store thousands of songs on them. The Hello Kitty MP4 player can be set up by syncing it with a computer to transfer the songs to the device.

Insert the "Music Express" CD into your computer disk drive.
Click the "Next" button on the Music Express pop-up window. Agree to the licensing terms. Specify which folder you would like to store your music files in and click "Install." Click "Finish." Double-click on the "Music Express" icon on the desktop to launch the program.
Click the "Continue" and then the "Next" buttons. Select your digital music player model and click "Next." Type a name for your music player before clicking "Next" again.
Plug the provided USB cord into the port on the player and the USB port on your computer. Click the "Install Now" button. Click "Finish." The device can now be synced with the computer to transfer music files.
Press and hold the "Play/Pause" button to turn the MP4 player on. Press the "Prev/Next" buttons to navigate to the "Settings" menu in the main menu. Adjust the "Language," "Power off," "Backlight," and "Contrast" settings to your preferences.
