Restart the Compaq.
Press the "F11" key once the computer turns back on to access the recovery partition.
Click the "System Recovery" option under the "I need help immediately" category. Click "Next."
Click "No" in the Microsoft window and click "Next." Select "Next" in the system recovery window that opens to reformat the Compaq and return the software to the factory settings.
