The Samsung G600 phone stores everything on its mini Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card. It allows you to store photos, videos, songs and text messages. Just because you deleted your text messages on your phone does not mean that they are forever lost. With a SIM card reader, you can retrieve those deleted messages on your computer. You can purchase a SIM card reader at any electronic store or wireless carrier.

Install the software that came with the SIM card reader. Save the software to your computer's hard drive. Allow your computer to restart.

Turn off your Samsung phone. Remove the battery cover and battery. Locate the SIM card, which looks similar to a microchip. Lift it up and remove it with your fingernail.

Insert the SIM card into the SIM card reader's USB. Insert the USB into an available port on your computer. Wait for your computer to recognise the new device.

Double-click the SIM card reader software. It will recognise your phone and back up your text messages to the SIM card and the software.
