How to Get Deleted Contacts Back on a BlackBerry

You can quickly fix the problem of accidentally deleting an important contact off of your BlackBerry as long as you have used the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to create a backup of your smartphone. BlackBerry Desktop Manager is a software application developed by RIM that enables you to perform data recovery and backup processes for your smartphone. The restore will return your personal data to the phone, including messages, settings and contacts, in only a minute or two.

    Connect the BlackBerry to your computer with a USB cable.

    Open the "BlackBerry Desktop Manager" and click the "Device" button.

    Click "Restore" and click the name of the most recent backup file. Click "Select Device Data and Settings."

    Click the "Address Book - All" option in the database selection window and then click "Restore." Click "Yes" to restore the contacts on your BlackBerry.
