Sending an endearing mobile greeting card to a loved one is a romantic gesture. Whether you want to celebrate an anniversary or simply want to say "I love you," you can create a personalised mobile greeting card to express your emotions. A handful of web-based eCard companies allow users to customise and send mobile greeting cards. After choosing a mobile greeting card service, you can select a template, add personal text and send it to a loved one's cell phone.

    ATM Greetings

    Go to the ATM Greetings website (see References), and click on the "cell phone ecards" link, which is located at the top of the screen.

    Scroll through the "Categories" list, highlight the "Love" link, and select one of the available options, such as "Kiss," "Proposal" or "Say with Love." A variety of love cards will appear on the screen.

    Select your favourite card by clicking on the thumbnail image. A preview of the card will appear. You will notice a text box under the preview, which says "Type your message here."

    Enter a personal, romantic message that will be sent to your recipient, and then click on the "Preview" button. A preview of your card will appear on the page.

    Click on the "Send Worldwide" button, and then copy the code that is presented on the screen.

    Compose a new SMS message on your cell phone, and select the recipient's cell phone number from your Contacts list. When the text message form appears on your cell phone screen, enter the code and click "Send."

    Cool GSM Rings

    Go to the Cool GSM Rings website (see References), and click on the "Greeting Cards" link, which is located on the left side of the screen.

    Scroll down the page, and click on the "Love" link. A variety of available Love cards will appear on the screen.

    Click on one of the thumbnail images to select a card. A small dialogue box will appear on your computer screen.

    Enter your name, and then enter a personal message in the available text field. Consider writing a romantic message to compliment the loving card you will send.

    Enter the recipient's cell phone number in the "Mobile number" text box.

    Select a specific time to send the card. If you would like to send the card immediately, leave the box next to "Direct" checked. If you would like to set a specific time and date, use the drop-down menus to send your card at a designated time.

    Click on the "Next" button, review your mobile eCard purchase, and complete your order. Each card costs £1.30 as of December 2010.

    Love and Hugz

    Go to the Love and Hugz website (see References), and click on the "Mobile Cards" toolbar tab.

    Click on the "Love" link, which is located in the category section.

    Scroll through the list of available cards, and click on the "view" link to preview a specific card. A preview of the card will appear in a separate web browser window. Click on the web browser's "X" button to exit the preview screen. Preview multiple cards until you've found the card you would like to send to your loved one.

    Click on the "Send" link that is located under the card you would like to send. You will then be asked to select a payment method. Choose the credit card or mobile phone option. Each card costs approximately £1.30.

    Review your purchase, and click the "Submit" button to complete your order and send your card.
