Depo headlights are know for their quality and durability. If you need to install a new headlight in your car, truck or SUV and decide on a Depo light, the process will be much like any other headlight installation. While you can certainly bring your vehicle in to a garage to have this done, you can save quite a bit of money doing the job yourself. With nothing more than a screwdriver the do-it-yourselfer can complete this task in about a half an hour.

Check the Depo headlight assembly. Upon opening the box, you should see a headlight with attached side brackets and a package of Phillips head screws. Depo makes a variety of styles, so be sure the one you purchased fits your vehicle.
Open the bonnet of your vehicle and prop it up with the hood bar. Find the headlight well where the faulty headlight has been removed and the new Depo headlight will be installed.
Insert the headlight assembly into the light well. Align the brackets with the screw holes in the well. Use the screws that came with the headlight and a Phillips screwdriver to secure the assembly in place.
Attach the electric cable to the rear of the headlight assembly. This cable will have a plastic end or plug that will need its sides squeezed to be pushed into place. This will connect the new Depo headlight to the vehicle's electrical system.
Lower the hood and test the new headlight.
