A docking station is used with a laptop to be able to use peripherals, such as printers, additional monitors, external keyboards, mice and scanners. With a docking station, the laptop is more like a desktop computer while being used at a desk. You can find the undock button on the right side of the monitor stand. You have the option to disable or enable the undock button, and you can change the option in the Windows Registry Editor.
